OurTestimonials
“We have been using the FSL Jumpmats for a number of seasons with the Northern Ireland football team and we have found them a very valuable tool in measuring players’ power and performance as well as improving fitness levels. In particular, they have proved a significant asset in our talent identification programme throughout the junior squads ”
Nigel Best, Performance Manager, Irish Football Association
“Jumpmat is an incredibly user friendly tool which is very accurate. I currently use it in my role as Head of Sports Science with England Rugby. We currently use the mat on a Wednesday during a training week to see where players are at in terms of their physical condition. We use the system to profile players and use scores such as RSI to measure how hard we should be pushing them. I have recently been informed about the upgraded software – the ability to create profiles on the system will be a massive improvement on the current system. I have found the Jumpmat really portable – taking it abroad in my suitcase to destinations such as Australia with the England Squad ”
Dr Jonathan Bloomfield, Head of Sports Science, England Rugby
“The FSL jump mat plays an integral part within the Strength and Conditioning Department at Ulster Rugby. The ESS jump mat is used from sub-academy and academy through to professional players, thereby enabling players’ progress to be monitored and tracked through their multi-year development. The mat is utilized for talent identification, fibre typing players, tracking performance increases in leg power and monitoring fatigue. It is essential equipment for any team or organisation who is serious about tracking players’ power development and adaption to training”.
Jonny Davis, Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Ulster Rugby
“The ESS Jumpmat is an accurate measuring device for assessing lower body muscle power – an important component of physical fitness. The unit can be used to assess lower body power in single and repetitive squat jumps and counter-movement jumps. It will automatically calculate more sophisticated indices of muscle power, such as the reactive strength index. The UlsterSportsAcademy use the units in teaching and research settings and in the support of elite athlete groups through the Performance Services Unit”.
